Neetu obtained her PhD from the Department of Biochemistry, Central Drug Research Institute, India. The main objective of her research was to evaluate the mechanism and action of anticancer molecules in order to develop specific drugs against cervical cancer. She then moved to the University of Calgary to pursue her postdoctoral training studying brain tumors at the Cumming School of Medicine. During the course of her PhD program, Neetu was actively involved in organizing and coordinating social and educational events which allowed her to acquire skill sets for networking and management. She hopes her interim role with the network will expand the horizon of her skill sets. Neetu has a passion for the MS community and is excited to contribute towards the hard work of scientists, researchers and clinicians to advance research for this complex disease.
