About The Event

Nabeela Nathoo completed her BSc, MD, and PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary. Her PhD thesis used susceptibility weighted imaging in the EAE mouse model of multiple sclerosis under the supervision of Drs. Jeff F. Dunn and V. Wee Yong. She completed her Neurology residency training at the University of Alberta. She is currently in her second year of Multiple Sclerosis fellowship training at Mayo Clinic Rochester where she also holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor of Neurology. Her interest lies in the use of advanced MRI methods in diverse racial and ethnic groups with multiple sclerosis, with the goal to also improve inclusion of these populations into clinical trials.
